About the Art Collection
The City’s Art Collection is one of Western Australia’s most diverse municipal art holdings, with more than 480 works ranging from painting and printmaking to textiles and sculpture. The collection reflects the cultural heritage, creativity and lifestyle of the community, while supporting local and Western Australian artists.

Artworks from the collection are displayed across libraries, community and recreation centres and the Civic Centre and from time to time, displayed in curated exhibitions at our Cultural Centres.You can view a curated selection of pictures online in our Collection in Focus below. This current collection focuses on the natural world, from orchids and rivers to cliff top views and suburban streets.
