The minimum age for access to fitness classes is 13 years of age. Teens aged 13 years are welcome to participate in our full range of fitness classes when accompanied by a paying adult. Once teenagers are 14 years old they can access all fitness classes unattended.
Reformer Pilates and Barre
With a maximum of 16 participants, PLUS classes offer personalised instruction and run in our dedicated studios across LeisureFit Booragoon and LeisureFit Melville. LES MILLS SHAPES is a workout program that blends Pilates, barre and power yoga into a dynamic, full-body workout, focusing on strength, flexibility and low-impact movements. A dynamic fusion of Pilates, ballet and fitness. A full-body workout using the classic ballet barre focusing on arms, legs, glutes and core. Barre is a low impact, high intensity workout combining standing Pilates work, light weights and short cardio intervals. You'll hear terms like plie and arabesque and maybe even find your inner ballet dancer. This class is accessible for everybody and all levels of fitness.

Using the Reformer machine, this class covers postural and technical aspects of Pilates, offering a workout that forms an excellent base for progressive stabilisation work. Classes may also include the use of the Pilates long sitting box, magic circle, ball or light hand weights, adding variety to each class. A low-impact class that uses buoyancy and resistance equipment to increase flexibility, strength, endurance and aerobic conditioning. Swimming proficiency required.
A fun and low-impact class, designed for older adults. Improve tone, strength, flexibility and coordination.
Term Programs
Fitness sessions for youth aged 12 to 16 years. TeenFit runs during school terms offering five sessions per week in the Group Training Studio at LeisureFit Melville.
TeenFit offers an individual program for each participant to complete during our fully supervised sessions. Each participant will receive a personalised assessment and program in their first session. Our personal trainers will also introduce participants to safe practices, various training equipment, weight and cardio machines.
Session Times:
- Daily Monday to Friday - 4.30pm to 5.30pm
- Starting from $102.00 (based on one session per week for an 8 week term) with the option to enrol in more than one session. Upfront or fortnightly direct debit payment options available. Fortnightly payments are debited throughout the duration of the term.

Play-based fitness sessions for kids aged eight to 12 years. YouthFit runs during school terms in our Group Fitness Studio at LeisureFit Melville.
In a safe and fun environment, our personal trainers introduce participants to safe practices, various training and body weight exercises plus exposure to a fitness class environment.
