City of Melville Community-Based Transport Service in Partnership with Melville Cares

Transport can be a barrier for some people to stay involved and connected to their community.

We have two vehicles available for hire by not-for-profit community groups and associations, who provide a community service to our residents.

We encourage hirers to provide their own driver, however, a request can be made on-line for a Melville Cares volunteer to drive the bus (subject to availability).

Buses can be hired on a five hour (half day) or ten hour (full day) booking timeslot.

Toyota Coaster Auto 16-Seater (LR Class Driver Licence required)

The Coaster can carry the driver and 16 passengers as well as one person in a wheelchair.

Renault Auto People Mover 11-Seater Bus (C Class Driver Licence required)

The Renault People Mover can carry the driver and 10 passengers as well as one person in a wheelchair.
