We are proud to present the 49th Melville Art Awards, one of the biggest celebrations of Western Australian arts talent, exhibiting works by established and emerging artists, including local talent living in the City of Melville. 

The Melville Art Awards have a long history of featuring a spectacular display of creativity from across Western Australia, proudly placing art and community centre stage. Whether you're an artist, an art lover, or just looking to try something new - you're invited to experience this inspiring celebration.

What to Expect

The Melville Art Awards exhibition is held at the beautiful Main Hall at Melville Civic Centre. Visitors to the exhibition can expect a wide-variety of works on display, from colour-soaked paintings to evocative photographs, and delicate ceramic vessels.

  • The exhibition is family-friendly and free to attend.
  • Artworks are for sale throughout the exhibition, with no commission taken, it is an excellent opportunity to purchase incredible artworks and support the artists.

We encourage you to come along to this incredible display of talent by local and Western Australian artists.

Venue and Accessibility Information

Melville Main Hall is accessible via ramp and is located on the ground floor. ACROD and general parking is available close to the entrance of the hall. There are accessible toilets located at the Main Hall.
