About Public Art Collection
The City's Public Art Collection features over 150 artworks acquired through artist commissions, exhibition purchases, donations and community projects. Integrated throughout our playgrounds, parks, and building designs, these works enrich public spaces and celebrate our cultural identity and community aspirations.
The City also supports public art in private developments through its Percent for Art policy, ensuring creativity is woven into our urban landscape. We invite you to explore the artworks across our suburbs and experience the stories that shape our sense of place.

Public Art Strategy & Masterplan
The Public Art Strategy and Masterplan guides how art is integrated into public and private projects. It establishes key principles and priorities to enhance our built environment, natural landscapes, significant Indigenous sites, and historic locations through thoughtful and meaningful artworks.
The strategy provides a curatorial and technical framework for new commissions, ensuring our collection is cohesive, high quality, and reflective of our community's evolving stories and cultural expression.
