Libby for Kids

Libby's Content Controls allow users to configure what library content appears in Libby for themselves or for their family. Content Controls can be locked with a passkey.
To set Content Controls in Libby:
  • Open the Libby app or website.
  • Tap or click the menu icon ☰ at the bottom of the screen.
  • Scroll down to the Settings heading and select Content Controls.
  • Select an option:
    • Libby for Kids shows only titles for juvenile (0-12) and young adult (13-18) audiences. Optionally, users can hide young adult content using toggles.
    • Libby for Everyone has no restrictions and shows all titles in the collection. Optionally, users can hide mature content using toggles.
    • Libby for Grown-ups is for people who borrow general and mature content only. It prevents kids' titles from appearing. Users who enjoy young adult titles can re-enable that content using a toggle.

Please note: Kindle devices are not currently compatible with library eBook services in Australia due to Amazon licensing issues.
