Group Training at Shirley Strickland

Our Group Training at Shirley Strickland Sport and Community Pavilion offer small group, personalised coaching that combines strength and cardio in a supportive environment. Ideal for beginners, those returning to exercise, or anyone seeking a tailored approach.

Classes will run from Monday, 4 May 2026 through to Monday, 15 June 2026.

  • Monday and Wednesday at 3.00pm, 4.00pm or 5.00pm
  • Tuesday and Thursday at 7.00am or 10.00am
  • Two sessions per week with a maximum of eight participants per group
  • Non Member rate $234.00, only $19.50 a session
  • Healthy Life and Healthy Life PLUS Member rate $117.00, only $9.75 a session
  • Upfront or fortnightly direct debit payment options available. Fortnightly payments are debited throughout the duration of the program. ActiveLink vouchers accepted
  • Sessions are held in our Gym at Shirley Strickland Sport and Community Pavilion
  • Suitable for all fitness and ability levels

Women's Lifting Workshop

Perfect for all ages and abilities, this supportive workshop is designed to help women feel strong, confident and capable in the weights room. Learn how to lift safely and effectively with a focus on correct technique for key movements including squats, shoulder press and more.

Our qualified trainers will guide you step-by-step, offering clear cues, individual feedback and practical tips you can take straight into your training.

  • Program runs for six weeks, two classes per week.
  • Monday, 16 February 2026 to Monday, 30 March 2026
  • Monday and Wednesday - 3.30pm to 4.15pm
  • Tuesday and Thursday - 5.40pm to 6.25pm
  • Classes run in the Performance Studio at LeisureFit Melville
  • Suitable for ages 13 years to adult
  • Member - $117.00, only $9.75 per session
  • Non Member - $234.00, only $19.50 per session

Exercise for EveryBody is an affordable, physio-led small group program designed to develop exercise strategies to help manage your injury and chronic disease, in addition to encouraging a more active lifestyle. We offer specialised programs focused on joint pain, and a dedicated program for individuals living with dementia and memory impairment.
