Volunteers will try repairing your household items including small electrical appliances, textiles and shoes, and general household items like furniture, bicycles, stands and more.
At this free drop-in, skilled volunteers will help repair items you’d find around the home, including electrical appliances, clothing, bicycles, and an array of household items.* Repair Lab helps us give new life to items and saves them from going to landfill. You do not need to register to attend. First come, first serve.
*Some items may be beyond our volunteers’ skillset. Expertise and repair services may vary from event-to-event. We cannot guarantee a successful repair, however our volunteer repairers will do their best to help you free-of-charge with the time, tools and skills they have available. Advice will be provided if your item is unable to be repaired.
Also at this event: a Buy Nothing Market will also be running. Bring along your unwanted items to gift or find a treasure to take home with you!
Repair Lab House Rules:
- Please stay with your Volunteer Repairer for the duration of your repair - have a chat and learn repair skills!
- Only one item is repaired at a time - if you have multiple items, you'll need to join the queue again. This ensures everyone gets to be seen at least once by a Repairer.
- We're unable to accommodate dogs.
