'Somewhere Out There'
Wednesday, 26 November to Sunday, 21 December 2025
Stop past and experience the exhibition Somewhere Out There - an anthology of creative writing and artwork by young artists.
This exhibition is the culmination of WRITE CLUB, a program that supported author Deb Fitzpatrick and artist Zali Morgan to work with the Year 6 students of Caralee Community School in 2025. Each student responded to the theme 'Somewhere Out There', and these stories and lino-prints are the result of their creativity and dedication.
Wednesday to Friday, 10.00am to 4.00pm
Saturday and Sunday, 10.00am to 3.00pm
Places Unsaid
Places Unsaid is a multimedia storytelling project that captures the rich cultural heritage of our community, preserves our social history and brings together local voices sharing memories of living in the City of Melville. We invite you to explore our local places through the eyes of long-term residents - watch and listen online as they share memories and previously untold stories that celebrate our community.Places Unsaid was produced by Two Monkeys Agency with a community grant. The project was filmed and launched at Yagan Mia Wireless Hill Museum and informed by the City of Melville Museum and Local History Collections.
