Reporting graffiti
The City has several actions in place to address graffiti vandalism in our City, but crime prevention is everyone’s business, and we all have a role to play.
Report all graffiti to the WA Police State Graffiti Task Force who will automatically direct your report to the relevant local government authority or asset owner to notify them of the incident and facilitate removal. arrange for the removal of the graffiti, you can help us to discourage vandals and reduce graffiti across our City.
WA Police recommends that the following graffiti incidents be immediately reported to the Police by calling 131 444:
- Offences in progress
- Offensive racial or religious graffiti, or graffiti including personal threats
- Graffiti incidents on properties owned by Members of Parliament (State & Commonwealth) and other notable individuals.
Please note if graffiti incidents are reported by contacting the Police at 131 444, it is necessary to also make a report on the Goodbye Graffiti Website for the removal process to be initiated.

PHAZE Urban Art Painting Program
PHAZE is the City of Melville's FREE legal urban art painting program and gives you the opportunity to develop your spray-painting skills with a professional Urban Artist. PHAZE provides a free, safe and legal opportunity for artistic expression for young urban artists. Eight sessions are held across the City from September to April with all materials are provided along with sunscreen, water and lunch.
